Become a Champion!

The ‘GCE’ challenge is being made to thousands of Junior Olympians and Children across America. It will be broadcast Live in Sacramento, CA on August 28th as a part of the opening ceremonies for the 2010 USATF National Junior Olympic Track & Field Championships

The Challenge

  • Accept the challenge to Become a Champion by joining the ‘Greatest Competition Ever’ in your community by building a team of neighborhood heroes.
  • These can be sponsors, volunteers, parents, teachers and friends. Anyone can get involved with Community Service!

  • Choose a charity or community service project in your area and create a volunteer team consisting of no less then 10 “Heroes.”
  • Recruit children in your neighborhoods that are not currently participating in Track and Field.
  • Work together on creating a name for the team and developing a “mission”
  • submit team name, mission and a short overview in (essay form) of your teams strategy to being successful as a community “champion” to mail@greatestcompetitionever.com!
  • Team submission video should be produced with actual team footage in the community providing community service. The score should contain “lil Jordan this years Official event Ambassador who will be performing at opening ceremonies. Team documedia must be submitted no later than September 15th 2010 12:00am Pacific

Teams must have (essay) submissions in no later than August 21st 2010

Getting Started

Teams should contact Joanne Comargo- Stanton Executive hair for PAUSATF and host of this years National Championships.
Select a coach or point of contact for fund raising support (event coordinator) in relation to this promotion. We will help build events with local ambassadors to help raise funds for team, travel, sponsored team memberships.
Online social blogger(s) (designate one person)
Video team (Need to submit HiDef Video on You tube or in selected format)
Photographer for promotional footage (We will be doing periodic press releases to help create buzz for your cause and increase the support in your community. Pictures in 300 DPI resolution are suggested for local and national print and online blog updates.
