Become a Champion!

Eligibility requirements

Each team should consist of no less then (20) children aged 7-18 years old.
No more than (10) should be Junior Olympians.  This will help introduce the “team” to a bigger reach of children.  This can be life changing for many of the children involved on both ends of the spectrum in so many ways.

The ‘GCE’ challenge is being made to thousands of Junior Olympians and Children across America. It will be broadcast Live in Sacramento, CA on August 28th as a part of the opening ceremonies for the 2010 USATF National Junior Olympic Track & Field Championships

The Challenge

  • Accept this challenge to Become a Champion by joining the ‘Greatest Competition Ever’ in your community by building a team of neighborhood heroes.
  • Members can be sponsors, volunteers, parents, teachers and friends.   Anyone can get involved with Community Service!
  • Choose a charity or community service project in your area and create a volunteer team consisting of no less then 10 “Heroes.”
  • Recruit children in your neighborhoods even those not currently participating in Track and Field.
  • Work together on creating a name for the team and developing a “mission”
  • Submit team name, mission and a short overview in (essay form) of your teams strategy to being successful as a community “champion” to mail@greatestcompetitionever.com!
  • Team submission videos should be produced with actual team footage in the community providing community service. The score should contain “lil Jordan this years Official event Ambassador who will be performing at opening ceremonies. Team documedia must be submitted no later than September 15th 2010 12:00am Pacific

Teams must have (essay) submissions in no later than August 21st 2010

Getting Started

  • Teams can register here as a member or contact Joanne Comargo- Stanton, the Executive Chair for PAUSATF and host of this years National Championships.
  • Select a coach or point of contact for fund raising support (event coordinator) in relation to this promotion. We will help build events with local ambassadors to help raise funds for team, travel, sponsored team memberships.
  • You will need a volunteer nline social blogger(s) (designate one person)
  • Video team (Needs to submit HiDef Video on You tube or in selected format)
  • Photographer for promotional footage (We will be doing periodic press releases to help create buzz for your cause and increase the support in your community. Pictures in 300 DPI resolution are suggested for local and national print and online blog updates.

  • Once the essay is received it will be submitted to our site and promoted with the competition to fans around the globe.
    • Teams should call in on Sunday’s to speak to Lil Jordan Live about their teams and missions
    • To enter the contest each team will submit a 2-3 minute music video featuring “Lil Jordans’” single.
    • The video should be in HD and should shows the teams efforts, volunteerism, and accomplishment. (inspiration, hard work)
    • The videos with the most views and votes will win a percentage of royalties from “Lil Jordans Single”
    • Participating Teams can raise money during the promo by selling T-shirts, and merchandise promoting the “Greatest Competition Ever” with 100% of the funds going directly back to them.
    • Intrinsic and our sponsors will work to develop a blueprint for each team (promo materials, logos,web links for social media)
